Método de tango
The first basic and comprehensive method for playing tango music.
[English translation is currently not available] Der Tango bewegt seit einem Jahrhundert die Menschen auf aller Welt: durch seine leidenschaftliche Expressivität und die ebenso akzentuierte wie flexible Rhythmik. Von Julio de Caro über Carlos Gardel und Astor Piazzolla bis heute haben seine Musiker immer neue Wege und Klänge gesucht, um dem Rhythmus und der Expressivität neue Mittel zu erschließen. Feines, kammermusikalisches Musizieren begegnet Rhythmen von körperlicher Wucht, ergreifend schlichte Melodien treffen sich mit zeitgenössischen Klängen. Eine faszinierende musikalische Welt – die sich besonders intensiv erleben lässt, wenn man die Musik selbst spielt. Nur: Bis heute gab es keine Schule, um das Tango-Spielen zu erlernen.
Den Autoren um die Flötistin Paulina Fain, alle Protagonisten der vitalen Tangoszene in Buenos Aires und Meister ihres Instruments, ist es gelungen, die natürlich gewachsenen und bislang vor allem im gemeinsamen Spiel weitergegebenen „Regeln” des Genres zu systematisieren und allgemein verständlich zu vermitteln: Die ersten Bände ihrer so entstandenen MÉTODO DE TANGO liegen nun vor.
Each volume concerns with one instrument of the tango ensemble and deals, besides general basics of tango music, with specific techniques of that particular instrument, and the roles the instrument takes in the ensemble.
[Musikalisches Grundwissen und eine gewisse Beherrschung des eigenen Instruments sind Voraussetzung. Daher ist die MÉTODO DE TANGO ideal für Quereinsteiger aus anderen Genres wie der Klassik oder dem Jazz. Besonders interessant ist sie für fortgeschrittene Spieler, denn die expressiven Möglichkeiten wachsen mit den technischen Fähigkeiten und so manche bisher als „trocken” empfundene Spieltechnik erscheint in dieser Musik in neuem Licht. Der Tango zeigt, wie glücklich Emotion und kompromisslose Modernität zusammengehen.
