The G. Ricordi & Co. Stage and Music Publishers, est. 1901 is the German subsidiary of the renowned Italian publishing house Casa Ricordi (est. 1808 in Milan), home of the most important Italian opera composers: Verdi, Donizetti, Puccini, amongst others.

The main focus of today’s publishing activity

Opera:

including the works of Giacomo Meyerbeer and Giovanni Simone Mayr

Contemporary Music:

approximately two thousand works from over a hundred composers

Teaching Literature

Learning books and sheet music for various instruments

Additionally at Ricordi, the programme of publishing of Otto Junne Music Publisher, Edition Top Music (Choral music amongst others) and Edition Groenning (symphonic brass music) i supervised and developed.

Ricordi (Munich) and the Rob. Forberg Music Publishing House are part of the renowned group of music publishing houses Casa Ricordi Milano, Ricordi London, Editions Durand – Salabert – Amphion – Eschig and Editio Musica Budapest and the publishing group Universal Music Publishing Classical. We represent and distribute the publications and libraries of our partner publishers in Germany as well as in other countries (see representatives).
